Caregiver Fatigue Counselling

Caring for someone you love can be meaningful, but it can also be emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. Whether you’re supporting a family member, partner, friend, or pet with medical, emotional, or daily-living needs, caregiver fatigue can build quietly over time. You deserve support too.

Caregiver stress often shows up as burnout, guilt, resentment, grief, overwhelm, and the feeling that you have to hold everything together. In counselling, you’ll find a space where your experiences are understood, validated, and taken seriously.

Together, we can work on:

  • Recognizing the signs of caregiver stress and burnout

  • Coping with emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, and chronic stress

  • Managing guilt, resentment, or conflicting emotions

  • Setting healthy boundaries without sacrificing compassion

  • Developing routines and strategies that support both you and the person you care for

  • Navigating role changes, identity shifts, and the impact on relationships

  • Reducing isolation by exploring supports, resources, and ways to share the load

  • Honouring your limits and prioritizing your own well-being
