Payment Policy

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I currently accept credit or e-transfer, and a receipt will be provided for your records or insurance reimbursement if applicable.

Please note that coverage for services provided by a registered social worker may vary between insurance plans. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm their coverage prior to beginning services.

Missed Appointments and Cancellation Policy

Your session time is set aside just for you. To help keep things running smoothly for everyone, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee. This policy allows me to offer appointments more consistently and fairly to all clients.

I understand that things come up unexpectedly. If something prevents you from attending your session, please reach out as soon as you’re able — I’m always happy to talk about how we can support consistency in a way that works for you.

Non-Emergency Services

Skyline Counselling provides support for non-urgent mental health concerns. My services are not intended for emergencies or crisis situations. If you are in crisis or need immediate assistance, please contact local emergency services, go to the nearest hospital, or call a crisis hotline such as Talk Suicide Canada (1-833-456-4566).
