Grief and Pet Loss Counselling
Grief can be overwhelming, isolating, and deeply personal. Whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, the death or decline of a pet, or the emotional impact of major life changes, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can express your feelings, process your grief, and move through this experience at your own pace.
Together, we can work on:
-
Understanding the many forms of grief
-
Processing emotions such as sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, confusion, and loneliness
-
Honoring your relationship with the person or pet you’ve lost
-
Navigating pet-related grief, including anticipatory grief and the unique pain of losing an animal companion
-
Processing complex emotions such as guilt, doubt or second-guessing related to end-of-life and euthanasia decisions
-
Coping with changes in identity, roles, or routines following a loss
-
Finding ways to stay connected while continuing to move forward
-
Developing supportive coping strategies to help you get through the hardest moments
